Account Deletion
Last Updated: July 2026You can permanently delete your Asktro account and associated data at any time.
1. Delete in the app
- Open the Asktro app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate once confirmed and cannot be undone.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from the phone number or email on your account:
- Email: support@asktro.in
- Subject: Account deletion request
We verify account ownership and then delete the account. Verified requests are actioned within 30 days, usually sooner.
3. What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data, including:
- Your profile, including name, phone number, email, and birth details.
- Your chat history with the AI astrologer, plus any images you shared.
- Your saved readings and app preferences.
4. What may be retained
A limited set of records is retained only where the law requires it, and only in a form not linked to your profile:
- Fraud / abuse safety records: retained for the minimum period needed to prevent repeat abuse.
